This stunning solid sterling silver medallion features a very handsome classical figure and the words “Republique Française” (French Republic) on one side. The other side is dated 1932 and features the image of a train with the words “Ministère de Travaux Publics, Chemins de Fer” (Ministry of Public Works, Railways) on the other. Two necklaces in one! For those of us that like to work hard, play hard, and all things French, this is a splendid piece.
