These very rare and magnificent black basalt English Wedgwood jasperware cufflinks feature an exquisite interpretation of the 1770 painting by George Stubbs called “Horse Frightened by a Lion”. With a high-quality, hallmarked, signed, gold-filled setting, they are bold, strong, sexy, and historical.

These cufflinks are in perfect condition and so very gorgeous. 

 

In 1804, Josiah Wedgwood began creating the iconic Jasperware. With intricate neo-classical motifs on a traditional Wedgwood bisque background, this is the ultimate adornment for a chatelain or chatelaine!
