Dating from the 1950s, the set features an exuberant sculptural bow design in richly polished heavily gold-plated metal, embellished with luminous faux pearls and sparkling clear rhinestones. Neither the pearls nor the crystals show any signs of scratches or wear. The statement necklace is finished with an elegant bar-link chain and a dramatic openwork bow centerpiece. Its matching bracelet repeats the sweeping ribbon motif, while the wonderfully dimensional earrings combine leaves, flowers, pearls and crystals in complementary—yet individually detailed—designs.
